Are you still trying to figure out how to support your clients, staff, and students during this challenging and changing world since the COVID-19 pandemic started? Are you continuing your virtual supports and feel like you could use some ideas to make it more interactive?

Learn from Anthony (Tony) Williams, founder and CEO of BEACON House, as he talks about how to use the tools of Zoom and other virtual meeting applications.

Learn how to incorporate materials and/or learning kits to increase your engagement with clients. Take your in-person style of meeting/class with the people you support and transform it into a dynamic virtual meeting/class. From little tweaks to larger changes, this session is certain to have you leave with new ideas.

Learning Objective: Identify possible ways to take a traditional in-person lesson/meeting and create a similar lesson/meeting virtually that is engaging and interactive. Learn ways that BEACON House has worked with other Community Service Providers to help improve their virtual learning and more.

Facilitator: Anthony Williams, Founder & CEO of BEACON House. Using his teaching bonus from the previous school year, he funded the beginnings of Beacon House, Inc. BEACON House focuses on student's and people with disabilities' interests and finding common ground to engage them in integrated activities that help them expand their creativity, innovation, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills while having fun.  Tony has a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and a minor in Education, from Shepherd University, a Masters in Education (focus on Technology Integration) from Walden University Online and a School Leaders Certificate Program from Hood College. "Change in the World Starts with You" is a phrase Tony lives by.
